Executive, Indirect Procurement

Job Objectives:

  • Implement Procurement processes and policy, ensuring that the organization acquires goods and services at the best possible price and quality.
  • Collaborates effectively with the cluster team & cross functions of UBL Group, ISI Parks (Park 1, Park 2 and ISI SEZ), ISI Construction, KMH Foundation, builds and maintains strong suppliers’ relationships and contributes to the overall success of the companies.
  • Reinforces Procurement policy implementation and improves the process, policies and system of group companies

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies by optimizing the spending with cost consciousness culture – category management and procurement strategy
  • Sourcing execution such as implements procurement process and tender process from Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quotation (RFQ), sourcing/tender, evaluation, negotiation until contracting.
  • Review and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure ongoing feasibility
  • Analyze procurement history expense and suggest methods to optimize expenditure and identify cost saving opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to assess the business-related risks
  • Address and resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers promptly.
  • Continuously propose improving procurement processes and policy to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks
  • Implement and reinforce requestors to follow procurement policies and procedures
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and production team, marketing, HR, Admin, IT, etc. to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations
  • Participant in cross-functional projects to improve overall business performance.
  • Join monthly meeting and do monthly reports on work progress and cost savings
  • Other assigned tasks

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degrees in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in procurement and supply chain (if any)
  • Experience with international companies (if any)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Accounting system (SAP, Business Central, others) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Malti-tasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Highly organized and detail oriented (Accurate and strong attention to details)
  • Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, self-motivated, willing to learn and advance
  • Ability to work independently
