Graphic Designer

Job Objectives:

  • Design and produce digital and physical materials that improve public perception of the Urbanland brand and portfolio of projects, to create appeal and a lasting, positive impression among local and international audiences
  • Assist Marketing team to maintain brand integrity and coherent visual identity for sales and marketing campaigns and communications across portfolio of products and services
  • Develop good understanding of our local audience and customers to help ideate and evolve brand campaigns.

Job Responsibilities:

  • As supervised by Senior Designer, design, develop and/or revise marketing materials for internal and external audiences across portfolio of Urbanland projects (eg brochures, newsletters, advertisements, handouts, presentations, logos, posters, invitations, web images, social media posts
  • Assist with visual direction, design and execution of videography and photography projects, advertising, physical spaces, interiors and other relevant collaterals
  • Support brand guardianship of Urbanland visual identity to build credibility across our corporate and project brands, ensuring colleagues follow them and that principles are applied correctly
  • Manipulate visual elements as necessary and/or place or convert graphic elements into correct formats/programs
  • Present design work at various stages to team members for review
  • Proactively develop and evolve design skills & stay current on industry trends
  • To assist / adapt produce artworks templates on digital posts for Urbanland, Chankiri, K Mall, and other projects across Urbanland as requested by line manager
  • To assist /produce teasers and promotion/ads in video format used for social media / LED if needed
  • To produce/illustrate artwork as illustration for Urbanland projects
  • To assist some mock-up design for marketing branding / event as requested
  • Completion of other tasks and duties assigned

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in brand and/or design roles
  • Strong portfolio of previous work, showcasing design capabilities across a variety of platforms, channels and media
  • Excellent working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (or other industry standard software)
  • Able to demonstrate strong conceptual skills, good sense of design, layout and typography, a broad thinker who is able to offer a variety of design solutions
  • Understand about graphic design, branding, visual communication
  • Capable to convey/transform brief/ideas to creative visual artworks (by using typography, color, layout, photography, and other visual graphic elements)
  • Have some experiences / knowledge design artworks for events for marketing department
  • Have some knowledge about video post production and animation that capable do motion graphic (GIF, Ads video) and be able edit / color grade videos for social media
  • Have strong commitment/ passion / enthusiastic in graphic design & motion graphic skills
  • Be able to work / collaborate with team
  • Be able to communicate well in Khmer and English (both verbal & written)
