Job Objective:
To carry out regular inspections, repairs, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and
plumbing (MEP) systems. This role also includes general building upkeep, preventive
maintenance implementation, support for daily operations, and participation in maintenance
cost-saving efforts. The technician will work closely with the supervisor and operational teams
to ensure the facility is safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Job Responsibilities:
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and MEP systems to identify issues or potential risks.
• Diagnose, repair, and resolve problems related to MEP systems, minor structural
damages, finishing work, and other facility issues.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to avoid
breakdowns and prolong system life.
• Follow the supervisor’s repair plans and maintenance schedules effectively and
efficiently.
• Conduct periodic quality checks on all MEP systems and equipment to ensure
compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, including basic painting, carpentry, and
landscaping work.
• Support the operating team in maintaining smooth day-to-day functions and resolving
facility-related issues quickly.
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of budget-saving initiatives within the
maintenance department.
• Maintain tools, materials, and equipment in good condition and ensure they are
properly stored.
• Prepare and submit accurate maintenance reports and daily activity logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or line manager.
• Technician also required to support & oversight some tasks as assigned by supervisor
or management like:
- Operation works
- Tenant Relation work.
- Facilities management work
- Marketing support.
- Parking & others.
Job Requirements:
• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or Building Services.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in MEP and general building maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Skills in general repair and maintenance tasks (e.g., painting, minor carpentry).
• Ability to read and follow maintenance plans, instructions, and checklists.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends, or emergencies as required.
