According to a survey of 170 people, 53% spend most of their time in the bedroom due to a perceived lack of space in the living room, and 90% do not have a suitable study room or working area. So, in Borey Chankiri, a multi-purposed room is designed to provide useful living space for everyone that can cater to their various demands from home office to entertaining space.
Looking closer at the house structure, it is constructed with a larger bottom floor, allowing natural light and ventilation into the house. Especially, it gives a modern and healthy comfortability in the home while saving energy. Coupled with the art of selecting materials that bring character and practicality to the home, such as selecting a railing size that is appropriate for residents of all ages and an earth tone color to peaceful the mind and body.
From exterior to interior, the moment you walk into Borey Chankiri compound, the design offers a simple but premium look. With timeless Khmer proverb “ laor kun, min man laor chaert” serving as design inspiration, each homes embody timeless designs that not only stand the test of time but are also purposeful and functional.
