Assistant Client Manager

Job Objectives:

The Assistant Client Manager plays a crucial role in the Admin & Client Services Team, supervising daily client services and office operations, and assisting senior management when required. The commercial aspect of this role entails managing daily client services, which includes overseeing reception services, event services, and leasing administration. Meanwhile, the office management segment involves coordinating daily administrative activities and providing support to senior management.

Job Responsibilities:

Commercial Responsibilities (50%)

  • Manage relationships with clients, driving the event space hiring, and assisting the workspace leasing process, handling queries, whilst coordinating with internal teams for smooth operations.
  • Drive revenue through the development of new event formats and managing leasing of small units and virtual offices.
  • Coordinate tenant / client onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into their new space and follow up for feedback.
  • Manage team performance to ensure delivery of high-quality services to tenants, guests, and partners.
  • Implement and review the approved budget for event services, regularly review to improve efficiency.
  • Provide guidance on pricing and negotiation, regularly reviewing to maintain competitiveness.
  • Develop and review workflows for events and leasing operations to enhance efficiency.

Office Management (40%)

  • Develop and review workflows for events and leasing operations to enhance efficiency.
  • Oversee daily office administration, office supplies inventory and budget.
  • Oversee HR administration services including employee care programmes budget, orientation schedules for new hires, and manage annual leave administration.
  • Establish and maintain administrative policies, procedures, and workflows, periodically reviewing them to enhance efficiency.
  • Supervise procurement, monitor vendors and service contractors, and manage office expenses, including conducting cost and quality reviews for efficiency.
  • Coordinate with accounting to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payments.
  • Evaluate team performance and identify areas for staff development and training.

Support to Managing Director (10%)

  • Coordinate compliance and auditing administration for the business portfolio; manage visa and work permit administration, ensuring timely renewals and payments.
  • Oversee property leasing and rental collection.
  • Handle basic house administration, coordinate guest logistics and travel bookings, and other related tasks.
  • Event revenue and rental revenues

Job Requirement:

  • Highly professional and ethical
  • University degree in business administration or relevant fields
  • Previous success in client services, business development, or office management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Experience developing internal processes and filing systems
  • Comfortable handling confidential information
  • Experience in managing budget and expense
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior team members
  • Intermediate to fluent English and Khmer, spoken/written
  • Interest social impacts preferred
